Chase has kept me BUSY BUSY BUSY lately. He has discovered EVERYTHING. I find toys in random places now (the sink, his high chair, the ottoman, to name a few) and find my house being a disaster 99% of the time. But, you know what? We are having a blast spending all day together and I wouldn't change it for the world. The one word I would use to describe Chase is a "sponge". He soaks up everything I say or do. He repeats every word and wants to know the name of everything! He has really good hand-eye coordination and can throw things very far (he pretty much throws everything). He CRAVES the outdoors all day long. I feel so bad when it is 100 degrees outside and we have to stay indoors...only a few more weeks hopefully until the weather cools off! He is my little buddy and nothing makes me happier than when he greets me with a smile and "mama!" in the morning.
Jake is a crazy eater. He is fattening up quite well! He has a small bout of fussiness from about 5-8 every night but other than that, he is getting into a fairly consistent routine. He eats about every 3 hours and his longest sleep period at night is about 3-4 hours. I was looking at baby pictures of Chase last night and could see a resemblance between the two. Some people have already told me that they look alike!
Daddy gave Chase a yoohoo and boy oh boy did Chase love it!
The monsoon season this summer has been awesome. It's flooded the street many times and Chase just loves playing in the water. This is an "action" shot...he is always on the go!
We went to the Phoenix Children's Museum and Chase LOVED it. We were there for 4 hours and afterward he passed out in the car...he NEVER sleeps in the car so we knew he had a good time! This was the "climber". Jake and I are down below.
This was the "fort room"...he loved peeking through to see us!
What a dream come true! Kitchen stuff that was his size and he could play with without getting into trouble!
Mommy and her boys! (Side note: this free moby wrap has been an absolute DREAM. Jake will sleep for hours in that thing!)
Jake usually spends his days sleeping or in his chair...very exciting, I know.
Chad also started a new job at Youth Development Institute and he loves it. We are so blessed to have each other and our healthy boys. It is truly amazing to be a stay-at-home mom right now. I count my blessings every day and I am overwelmed by how many I can count. The Lord has blessed us SO much and I am grateful every day for it!
Love how they are both crying in your blog picture:) I'm glad the Moby Wrap is helping!
